Operating the official Tower of London River Tour in an exclusive collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, the Silver Raven offers an unparalleled journey along the river uncovering London’s historical tapestry in pure comfort.
Whilst we intend to run the Tower of London River Tour on the Silver Raven, there may be occasions where we need to use a different vessel for operational, safety or security reasons. Please refer to our FAQs for further information on our replacement vessel.
A beacon of innovation
Built by the renowned superyacht specialists, Pendennis Shipyard in Cornwall, the Silver Raven is the UK’s first electric tour boat, equipped to operate fully on electricity.
The vessel’s arrival precedes the implementation of some of the first charging infrastructure on the Thames at Tower Bridge Quay. The initial phase of this development is due to be completed by the first quarter of 2026 and we look forward to plugging in to start charging sustainably from the grid with the continued support of the Department for Transport and the Port of London Authority.
Because of the need for further development of charging infrastructure, we designed the Silver Raven to operate primarily as a fully electric vessel but also with the ability to operate as a hybrid when charging the batteries from shore is not available. Whenever possible, the Silver Raven will operate in full electric mode and we will increase the frequency, moving to a fully electric service from renewable sources as soon as charging is fully active at Tower Bridge Quay and the charging infrastructure develops.
Crafted for comfort and style
The onboard experience has been meticulously designed to complement the tour. The interiors include a hammered English pewter bar, Scottish eco-leather seats and custom-designed Axminster carpet featuring a House of Hackney print, subtly weaving the story of the river and the Tower of London into the very fabric of the vessel. Guests can relax in comfort within the indoor observation lounge or saloon bar, or enjoy the fresh air from our expansive open-air and covered outdoor decks.

The Silver Raven was built to offer the best possible view of London's historical landmarks from the Thames. With panoramic views from every seat, passengers will experience a comprehensive and comfortable journey whatever the weather.
