We aim to provide a great experience for all, making the tour as inclusive and accessible as possible for everyone.
Pier Accessibility
Tower Bridge Quay provides step-free access from St Katharine’s Way. However, the Thames is a tidal river and the gradient for Tower Bridge Quay access is dictated by daily tides. The ramp to the pier will be steepest at low tide so may not be accessible during those times if you use a wheelchair or have reduced mobility. Tour timeslots taking place at low tide will be indicated at time of booking and tide information is available at https://tidepredictions.pla.co.uk.
Please speak to a member of our team onsite if you require assistance when boarding.
Travelling with an Essential Companion or Carer
If you require the assistance of an Essential Companion or Carer, we will provide a complimentary ticket when you purchase your own ticket, either online or at our ticket office. If you require assistance from more than one person, please contact us before you purchase your ticket. Please bring proof of eligibility on the day of your visit such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter.
Impaired Hearing Accessibility
We plan to run regular BSL interpreted tours, dates will be added to this web page once they are confirmed. Please contact us for further information.
We also offer a complimentary printed tour script and route map to those who are D/deaf or hearing impaired. Please make our team aware in advance or when you board the vessel and we will supply you with a copy.
