Train or tube

The Tower of London River Tour is conveniently located a short journey from major train and tube stations and bus stops.

Tower Hill is the closest tube station, it’s a 7 minute walk to Tower Bridge quay.

Monument, Bank, Aldgate and Aldgate East tube stations are just 10-15 minutes on the London Underground.

London Bridge and Fenchurch Street are 10-15 minutes and London Liverpool Street and Charing Cross are 20-25 minutes away.

Bus

The number 15 and 100 bus routes stop at the Tower of London.

We aim to provide a great experience for all ages, abilities and backgrounds and to make the Tower of London River Tour as accessible as possible for everyone.

Tower Bridge Quay provides step-free access from St Katharine’s Way. However, the River Thames is a tidal river and the gradient for access to the boat is dictated by daily tides. Please see our accessibility page for further information.

Tower of London

If you’re visiting the Tower of London, it’s approximately an 8 minute walk from Tower Bridge Quay. The walk will take you around the exterior of the fortress for a beautifully scenic stroll.
